A tale of two cities (to walk around) and Charming Small Hotel announcement

Hello - I have just returned from a week in New York... accompanied by a copy of "On Foot Guides GET A COPY HERE". Do the routes hold up even in Central Park snow and a blustery storm warning!? Yes! Although without waterproof trousers I did have to tuck trousers into socks, making it clear I was out testing guidebooks and not on my way to any Fashion Week catwalks (hiker-chic is biding its time). This week we are in *FINAL TOUCHES MODE* as the new edition of Charming Small Hotels BRITAIN and IRELAND gets prepped for print. The selections are charming, the choices are not small and the hotels all promise memorable stays: spruced-up old favourites, timeless classics and chic newcomers.
